{UAH} Thugs rob Kanoni church

BUKOMANSIMBI. Worshippers at Kanoni Sub-parish Church in Butenga Sub-county in Bukomansimbi District will have to dig deep into their pockets to buy new robes for their priests after thugs broke into the church and made off with all the church valuables.
According to Mr Stephen Ssenyonga, the sub-parish leader, the thugs stole the church public address speakers, windows and offertory on Sunday.
He said in an earlier incident, police took sniffer dogs to the scene, but they failed to trace the suspects.
Southern regional police spokesperson Noah Sserunjogi could not deny nor confirm the incident since none of the church officials had reported the matter to the police.
