{UAH} Pope Francis leaves for Latin America

Pope Francis left rome today morning for his pastoral trip to three Latin american

countries : Ecuador, Bolivia, and Paraguay. He is flying with Alitalia and the journey

is expected to last 13 hours. He is expected to arrive there at 10 pm ( European Time).

While on the Latin American continent he will be flown seven times to various destinations

where he will deliver a total of 23 speeches strongly touching on the following themes:

a- the Church's engagement in the democratic debate

b- the respect of each nation's cultural identity

c- the unity of the continent

d- the respect of the cultures of the indigenous peoples

e- the protection of environment and family life

f- social injustices

g- the struggle against corruption and the illegal drug traffic

The Pope's message and strong stand on these key subjects will naturally draw great appreciation

from millions of Latin Americans.
