{UAH} BLB officials will be in the UK next month
Buganda Land Board (BLB) officers will be in the UK in September 2015. This is the third year BLB is visiting different areas of the UK. This year they will go to Liverpool, Leeds, Crawley, Aldershot and London.
Buganda Land Board will inform people about Kabaka's land and address the following key points:
1. How do you acquire it and where? What is available for sale?
2. How much does it cost and what are the methods of payment that enable you avoid people defrauding you?
3. Is it heritable?
4. Can you use it as collateral for a bank loan?
5. How do you settle disputes between you and BLB?
6. How long is a lease?
7. How can you benefit from the assets (ebyaffe) returned to Buganda for development?
8. What safeguards does Buganda Land Board have in place for you to avoid being defrauded when you buy from them? steps should you take to avoid being defrauded when you buy from them?
9. Did you buy plot on Kabaka's land but have not yet got registered to confirm your tennancy lease?
10. What should you do if you want to buy a plot on Kabaka's land but you have very little time in Uganda?
11. And other questions you may have concerning land issues.
