Location: Nepal | Salary: VSO provides a comprehensive

Role overview


This role will respond to post-immediate Obstetrics and Gynecological
needs (service delivery), but will also support the health service
through into stabilization and strengthening after the disaster.


Skills, qualifications and experience required



Experience of providing reproductive/maternal health services
Conducting C-section (for delivery)
Coaching and mentoring junior doctors for capacity development
Experience of conducting in service training
Fully accredited Gynaecologist or GP with special interest in
maternity (obstetrics -with operative skill and experience)
Competent in teaching operative and clinical skills
At least 2 years post graduate experience
All applicants must possess strong written and spoken English
language skills. Applicants may be required to take a VSO language
test as part of the selection process.
