NRM CEC REJECTS NOMINATION OF ODREK RWABWOGO AS CONTENDER FOR NRM VICE-CHAIRMAN WESTERN
NRM Central Executive Committee has rejected the nomination of Odrek Rwabwogo, President Museveni's son-in-law, who was vying for the position of NRM Vice-Chairperson for Western Uganda.
Hakim Lukenge was also rejected for the position of National Vice-Chairperson, a position currently held by Moses Kigongo.
Major General Kahinda Otafiire has also stepped down from contesting for the Vice-Chairperson Western Uganda, which leaves Major General Matayo Kyaligonza unopposed for the position.
Rwabwogo and Kyaligonza have been at odds over Rwabwogo's decision to stand with Kyaligonza saying senior positions should be left to the historical members of the NRM party
