{UAH} RIP, I KNEW THIS DUDE: Former Lands minister dies in South Africa

LIRA - The Lango community in South Africa is mourning for the death of former Ugandan Land Minister, Prof. Peter Omara Ojungu.
The Ugandan High Commissioner to South Africa, Julius Peter Moto confirmed Prof.Omara's death to New Vision Monday.
He says Omara was pronounced dead at the wee hours Sunday 18, Oct 2015, at Vitros Hospital where he was admitted.
Omara served as Ugandan minister of lands during Gen Okello Tito Lutwa's regime before he fled to South Africa where he was Dean at Vaal University.
He was a resident of Plot 233, Penguin Crescent, Centurion South Africa. Arrangements are underway to return the deceased body to his ancestral home in Amolatar district for burial according to Moto.
Moto commended Professor Omara, saying he was passionate about his duties as Head of Department at Val University.
"Professor Peter Omara Ojungu was an expert in Geography and Environment management. His death is a big loss to the Lango Community in Uganda, the entire academia in South Africa and Makerere University where he was developing a twining arrangement," he laments, urging relatives and friend to remain calm during this trying moment.
