{UAH} Mbabazi warns Museveni: Prepare for tough times
Independent presidential candidate John Patrick Amama Mbabazi has warned the ruling National Resistance Movement [NRM] to stop provocations or face tough times.
While addressing the press about incidences that happened in Ntungamo District on Sunday night, where NRM supporters were beaten up by Mbabazi's alleged 'Kiboko sqaud', he said that unlike in the past, NRM was participating in a serious competition.
On Sunday December 13, NRM supporters who were carrying Museveni posters in Ntungamo were beaten up by a Militia group which was identified as "Amama Mbabazi's Kiboko squad", leaving most of them injured.
Mbabazi said that all the chaos was sparked off by the provocations by the NRM and warned them to "take it easy and know that this is a real competition."
He told journalists that the events were not sensible and the situation was avoidable, insisting that the NRM must stop sabotaging his rallies.
Ntungamo district is Museveni's place of birth, also represented in parliament by the first lady Janet Kataaha Museveni.
