We all look different, come from different tribes, cultures and backgrounds, and have different stories, but the one thing we all have in common is our country. -Abbey Semuwemba

I have read your writing and I seriously have a problem with that sentence. Is Uganda our country? There are things that are ours, and I will use the example of my daughter's dog Bubbles, actually if you watched the funeral of my wife that daughter had the dog when she was speaking. But Bubbles is so important to her that she spends every dime on that dog before she buys food to her mouth. When Bubbles had to go to the Vet to be neutered, she actually paid a nurse to sit by the cage with him over night for he had to spend the night at the pet clinic. And the reasoning was very simple, yes he is down, but when he wakes up I need him to see a human being sitting by him to ensure him that he is okay. And trust me paying for some one here to stay in a closed pet clinic overnight, is not cheap. And many dogs are left locked in to the morning when everyone shows up, but Bubbles had a baby sitter through the night for he is a very important member of the family. That is how people take care of what is theirs.

I am raising you the issue of Acholi and Langi, Can you kindly explain to me what they have done in Uganda to show that it is our country? And I need only one example. They are destructive, they are looters  and they are killers, 3/4s of Acholi Langi discussion is let us kill this individual, let us kill that one, I need these people to get a noose, or let us take over this government. And Acholi are an amazing tribe for to  those of us that have lived this long, Acholi have never got a government they have ever accepted. They hated Obote one government, they hated Amin's government, they hated Yusuf Lule's government, they hated Godfrey Binayisa's government, they hated Paul Muwanga's government, they hated the presidential commission government, they hated the Obote two government, Acholi actually hated The Tito Okello government and today they are hating the Museveni government than any other Ugandan. It is suffice to state today that Acholi are going to hate the incoming government.

And that hate is not as simplistic as sitting at home and you sabotage a government, Acholi actually take the streets and rampage them. They literary get a glee into seeing buildings explode. When you closely look at the wars they have fought in Uganda, Acholi actually start by blowing up schools, churches, hospitals and clinics. And yet those institutions are used by their own families. Their wives are treated in the very same hospitals and kids go into the same schools, yet the fathers stand up and blow them up. When you look at Luwero, all schools that were in the district were targeted by Acholi and either burnt or iron sheets taken off the roof. What is standing today in Luwero as a public building has actually been rebuilt after Acholi were chased out. If Acholi were productive as a tribe, today Acholi would have got the most buildings for they looted all cement and all Mabaati we had, but they ended up selling all of them to other tribes, and they used the money to drink to death. That cement and Mabaati never actually crossed Karuma falls. When you look at The Konny war in The North, Acholi even destroyed their very own schools. Schools that would have been attended by their very own children. In fact when you look closely at Acholi land, in as much as we have tried to build local schools in Luwero, Acholi do not build schools in their region, the schools they have  are either built by government,  international organization like The Catholic church let alone combone fathers. Look at the Acholi and Langi that preach how educated they are, they were in Buddo, Makerere or other southern schools, one would hope that given the degrees we have from The North at this time, we would have got a proud Acholi educated in Mucwiini University, we cannot get one for even Olara Otunnu today is renting a house in Buddo.

When you look at the destruction Acholi did in West Nile after the fall of Amin, I have written a great deal on how they massacred everyone, but if I wrote  a piece on how many schools and clinics they destroyed, you will puke. They took down Boroboro secondary school that did absolutely nothing to them, they blew up every single teaching institution including primary school and clinics and you name it. On this particular rampage, Acholi actually left no single standing government institution in the entire region. It is as if such institution waged a war on them. They just had a mind that is so destructive. And one of those days with time allowing, I will list you the names at minimum some of us compiled of schools and clinics that were destroyed by Acholi in West Nile, you will puke. How does an individual or individuals treat a country that way when it is theirs? But when you look closely at all past governments, they are all destroyed by again Langi and Acholi, Daudi Ochieng was the best friend of Mutesa to a point that there is a question of who is Ssabassajja's father. Many held very powerful positions in all past and present government including the one of Iddi Amin. Today Acholi are the best supporters of Museveni's government in legal ways and illegal ways, for example we have an Acholi in this city that is buying houses for Salim Saleh. Acholi were up and front in fighting Amin's government, the last government Uganda had as a state. They were front in fighting in Luwero, Acholi were front in fighting in West Nile, Acholi were up front in fighting in Konny war, Acholi are front in fighting in Somalia, Acholi are front in every fights in our country. Why not any other tribe sir? If the sentence you wrote above is true, then either Uganda is not our country, or Acholi do not belong into it.

There has to reach a point and we discuss Uganda issues candidly sir.

Friends,

There should be a clause or amendment in election bylaws that if your Ugandans At Heart(UAH) moderator(lol) is awesome and presidential candidates are retarded then the current UAH moderator by default gets appointed(not elected) for his first term!!!!! Oh Good Lord! I hate campaigns as there's a lot of useless stuff people say.

Thankfully, I already know that you, guys, need: water, electricity, food, security, peace, education, markets, proper housing, roads, jobs, hospitals, term limits, regional and global cooperation, e.t.c...... I will just do what you want without any bureaucratic headaches. And for those worried about 'Nyama mukyomo'(roast) on independence days, I will have Prof Stella Nyanzi as minister of 'roasting' affairs. My message for you is that not everyone may be a leader of a nation, but everyone is a leader in their own way in the real world. Anybody can be a good president as along as you do what you promised people what you would do.It's not big deal, and I don't know why some people make it a big deal. But if you cannot even do what you promised voters, then you don't even deserve to waste anybody's time standing again. It's common sense, guys!

One of the many beautiful things that the UAH forum has provided me with is friendship. It's even better than being an LC5 or MP somewhere in Uganda. I want to tell you about what friendship is to me. These men and women on this forum empower me, support me, enlighten me, and most importantly, remind me of why I'm a Ugandan despite having been in the UK for a while. We all look different, come from different tribes, cultures and backgrounds, and have different stories, but the one thing we all have in common is our country. It is so important in today's day and age that we surround ourselves with people who can allow us to grow spiritually and intellectually and remind us of where we are or need to be as a country. The knowledge they provide us everyday is inexplicable. It saddens me to see that sometimes within the UAH communities hypercriticism and dissent put brothers and sisters at odds with one another. Acceptance and guidance does so much more. We have lost so many good debaters as a result of this.

Food for thought!
