Fellow Ugandans,my brothers and sisters, I am here to inquire about certain issues to do with the immigration passport issuing officials. I as a Ugandan born and bread I have been concerned by an issue of a friend living in the UK who applied for a renewal of a passport and was sent off in January to the Uganda high commissioner passport office in London which is said to take 3-4week to process but to date the passport is being held because of change of profession they put on forms.Their passport was processed but has been denied to them still because they have to send proof of their profession, basically a certificate to prove the occupation named on the forms. I would have thought if proof of occupation really mattered a lot to the passport issuing officials, it should have been asked before the passport being processed. Now fellow Ugandans where on the passport forms does it mention proof of occupation must be attached with forms? Secondly These particular officials keep ringing the person and recently claimed to be the top boss in charge official asking what they can do about the passport, also claiming that they might have to cancel and process another one of which will cost them more fees. What are these people trying to imply. Basically today my main concern is that you don't get this rubbish of proof of occupation in Uganda when renewal or applying for a passport Uganda. Why in the Uk? Please people just tell us what you think?
