A few bits that have become relevant today
1) This is not a group belonging to any political party. We are not affiliated to any Party. Nor are we in any way officially endorsed by any political party.
2) There is no automatic right of anyone to get to be a member. Our settings may be public, but the admins get to decide who is and isn't added to the group.
3) We are publicly visible. This is worth bearing in mind when you write your posts. We DO NOT tolerate members threatening other members with taking disagreements into the real world. However, there is little we can do to prevent that. Please be mindful of your privacy on the internet!
4) We aim to not have to heavily moderate. The majority of the group members preferred it that way. There are other Ugandan groups that DO heavily moderate, and we won't hold any grudges if you choose not to stay here. A member who is not moderated will be permanently banned when they break forum rules especially if they post 'garbage'.
5) Please try to be excellent to each other.DO NOT insult, ridicule, or mock anyone. We have plenty of unpatriotic people trying to drag us down, they have so far reported UAH-Facebook 20 times since elections ended. Let's try to stand together as Comrades, not combatants!
6) Trolling will also not be tolerated. A person engaging in trolling will be warned either via private message or publicly.
7) If you make a post in a language other than the English , please try to accompany it with the translation so that others can benefit from/respond to it.
Thanks for reading. Let's not follow the appalling example set by our 'leaders' in Kampala. Peace to all humankind.--
