Uganda's president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has issued a directive that all Kenyans entering his country would have to be vaccinated for yellow fever.
Through the Ministry of Health, Uganda medical officials would be at international travel sites including borders and airports to ensure that the visitors have a yellow fever card.
"Anyone who does not have one will be kept in our isolation center in Entebbe for 10 days," sauid Rukia Nakamatte, the spokesperson for the health ministry.

Considering the closeness of both countries not only in matter trade and free movement at the Busia border, implementing this directive, considered to be an overreaction, would be an uphill task.
Kenya recorded two cases of Yellow fever after one patient succumbed to the disease and the second one continues to recuperate at the hospital since last week.
The dead victim had just arrived into the country from Angola where the disease is currently an epidemic and hundreds of people have died.
No other cases have been reported in Kenya.l
