{UAH} Uganda named among the world’s sadest countries
The World Happiness Report, released today, has ranked Uganda at position twelve among the least happy countries globally. Eight African countries are also among the ten least happy countries. Researchers used gross domestic product, life expectancy, having someone to count on, perceived freedom to make life choices, freedom from corruption, and generosity, among the measures of happiness.
Madagascar, Tanzania, Liberia, Guinea, Rwanda, Benin, Afghanistan, Togo, Syria and Burundi came at the bottom of the international happiness list.
