What made the current countries become developed is not natural  resources-endowment.

It is patriotic and dedicated leadership on a singular mission for economic and social transformation; not national lip-service and embezzlement of public resources.

Nigeria has oil; Japan has no resources. South Korea has fewer resources than North Korea. Uganda is blessed with abundant resources; Singapore has no resources.

There is no correlation between natural resource endowment in and of itself and prosperity creation. Even in the case of Norway, with its oil and gas wealth, it was dedicated --not corrupt-- leadership that enabled it to create a sovereign wealth fund which now has nearly $900 billion.

These countries that have created prosperity have leadership dedicated to the development of all the people.

Gen. Yoweri Museveni is dedicated to destroying the indigenous people so his foreign  minority elite continue to rule over the country working with some external forces. Why do you think we are messed up politically?

Why is President Kizza Besigye in  jail and everyone is quiet? Why is Mugisha Muntu insisting on engaging in opposition politics when Ugandan voters gave Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) the mandate and everyone is quiet?

Why did Gen. Museveni insult the ICC and we have only a few dissenting voices when he himself could face indictment as The Wall Street Journalreported on June 8, 2006?

Why does Gen. Museveni torture Ugandans collectively by holding the country hostage since he lost the election on Feb. 18 and the whole world is quiet?

Uganda doesn't need foreign aid money and experts of the kind we are getting; those are recipes for poverty and dependency.

Uganda wants substantial productive capital such as the West advanced to Japan, Germany and South Korea after WWII and markets for manufactured products.

Short of that leave Uganda alone  to go elsewhere.
