Here goes the last of the legends that made 60 Minutes a must-watch TV. 

The broadcast aired a special for him just last Sunday. Mr. Safer was a true story teller, with his folksy approach, accentuated by his deep, growl voice.

He and the late ABC anchor, Peter Jennings, were the best imports from Canada!
