{UAH} Philippines: Respecting people's choice

We should be proud of our in-laws, they respect democratic principles. I hope we have acquired something by our decision to cross Oceans to join another pearl. Uganda is described as The Pearl of Africa while The Philippines is referred to as The Pearl of Asia. Is this really true?
