{UAH} THE PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA IS ABOUT TO ADRESS THE FLOOR

To those following The Liberal party convention in Winnipeg, several votes have been taking place in the revision of  the party policy, but I know that one policy has been changed, you will no longer need to pay the 10 dollar membership  to become a Liberal party member.  That proposal  was raised voted on and it passed.  Now I do not know if that will affect the Liberal party of Ontario or this is only for The Federal Liberal party, but as last night, you do not need to pay the ten dollars to become a member of the party.

 

Now although I have been posting about The Liberal party convention, The Conservatives are also holding a party convention in Vancouver. They have also passed several policy changes as of this morning. The conservatives have voted and passed to drop the marriage definition from their policy. So as they come back to sell the new platform, on the official party policy document, the Conservative party will no longer define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. We have to wait for the new document to understand how they will official define it, but they have crossed that rubicon at last. Let me remind you that the Liberal party we accommodated same sex marriage 10 years ago, so the conservatives are just waking up. Second resolution from the Conservatives convention that has caught our attention, is that they have also agreed to allow marijuana, now on this very complex issue, I need to read the exact transcript, to understand what allowing they have agreed on, and what why have not agreed on, are they on medical marijuana or anyone can smoke it? But that is the part they have started to take today. Stephen Harper must have a headache today.

 

Both conventions are still running and we are watching how party policies are getting changed.
