Northern Uganda Abductions: Police Suspect South Sudanese Rebels

Uganda Police suspect Ugandans abducted last week by unknown
assailants in Northern Uganda were taken to join rebel activities in
the South Sudanese Central Equatorial province.
Over 20 youths mainly aged between 20-35 years were kidnapped when
unknown armed insurgents attacked Boroborochu village in Yumbe
district.
Addressing journalists on Monday, Police publicist Fred Enanga quoted
intelligence information showing the attackers took off and ran
towards South Sudan.
The Ugandan forces could not pursue the assailants in a foreign territory.
