Dear Friends,

Please find attached a statement from the Ugandan pro-democracy and human rights campaign group, Free Uganda, on the day an African terror despot, Chad's Hissene Habre, was found guilty of War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity, and accordingly sentenced to life imprisonment by an African Union Court.

The implications of the Habre imprisonment are immense for Uganda and other African countries, where ruthless rulers are on the rampage, doing exactly what Hissene Habre was doing in Chad.

The African Union must now turn its sights on all those African killer despots, like Museveni of Uganda, and make them answer for what they have done or are doing in their countries.

Free Uganda is now one of the leading Ugandan pro-democracy and human rights campaign groups, whose fight for freedom will not stop until the long suffering East African country is freed from Museveni terror.
