Why do you beshame the journalism profession by displaying your total ignorance of not only Kooki history, but of Uganda as a whole  You do not deserve a reply.

You are even ignorant of the Uganda Constitution which recognises the Kaamuswaga, Isaabaruuli, Isaabanyala, etc

These Cultural Heads are above everybody in their kingdoms.  The Uganda Government maintains them and provides them with security.

And journalist Kateregga does not know this.

Kooki is an integrated part of Buganda but autonomous under Kamuswaga.
Starting with 2017/2018 financial year, Kyotera district shall be in
place covering Kyotera and Kakuuto counties. God willing by 2021,
Kyotera may be a municipality. So Kooki traditional institution and
Kooki or Rakai district shall be one. As a Munnabuddu, resident in
Mawogola marrying a Mukooki, l have an interest in Kooki. But l think
Kabaka is more popular than Kamuswaga in Kooki. l think Kamuswaga and
his institution has no capacity to ban Luganda and Buganda anthem in
all schools and public places and institutions, unless if the center
is interest. Like the rest of Buganda, Kooki is multi tribal, as the
spokesperson has stated, of indigenous Bakooki, immigrant Baganda,
Banyankore including Bahima, Banyarwanda both Bahutu and Batutsi,
Baziba, neighbours from Tanzania, who are also numerous in Buddu,
etc...The best is for restoration of Buganda Government where Kooki
Government will be autonomous.
