{UAH} Diaspora contribution
Frank Mujabi
Some people by nature are mad and Akim is one of them. He thinks he knows it all from federalism to taxation of Ugandans in the diaspora. Let him swim in his nonsense. Most Ugandans in the diaspora are citizens in their respective countries. And Uganda does not yet recognize dual citizenship which means Ugandans who have earned foreign citizenship have lost their Ugandan nationality. Why then should they pay tax in a country they are no longer citizens? As I keep saying education in Uganda was a waste of time and resources. The so-called educated lack the most basic and common knowledge that is common sense.
It has failed to be common amongst our people over and over.

The UK doctors to be taxed were educated on UK taxpayer's money.
The majority of UG's working abroad were not educated on UG govt funds. Maybe a few of those retired or nearing retirement.
Most of the people 50 and under paid for their university fees while in UG and the majority studied outside.

You are getting tied up here.
The federo you want means that local federo govts would be free to set up social services for their areas. They will decide to tax their diaspora people as they see fit.
Then why do you want the corrupt unitary dictatorship to pass a law which will bind the future federo states of UG?
Federo means federo, no half way house.
