President Museveni has left Luweero residents in awe when he personally rode a bicycle and fetched water for his farm.

Presidential Press Secretary Lindah Nabusayi confirmed the development Monday morning.

According to Nabusayi, the President this morning fetched water to "bottle irrigate" his new farm in Kawuku Luweero district.

"Today, he planted bananas and coffee," Nabusayi added.

Museveni is currently on a four-day tour of Operation Wealth Creation ( OWC) beneficiaries in the district.

To effect his monitoring and supervisory mission in the district, President Museveni visited homes door to door.

He expressed his satisfaction towards progress made so far on the basis of households visited.

He urged the leaders to not only stop at distributing seeds, but also follow up and supervise.

"The agricultural officials should also come and offer technical assistance to these farmers," he added.
