obviously the Washington Post doesn't expect you check out the source of their numbers...that is why it is important for you to check the SOURCE of any data they feed you.  

The Gallup poll quoted in the article you posted shows that Obama's numbers are virtually unchanged over the past weeks!

As of YESTERDAY, Obama's approval was at 52%...that is SAME number as the average of polls (around 51.5%)
