Ugandan minister pays tribute to Shahbaz for progress of province

Lahore—Ugandan Minister of State for Foreign and International Affairs, Okello Henry Oryem met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and paid rich tributes to him on speedy completion of projects for the progress of the province and prosperity of the people.
Talking to Shehbaz Sharif, the Ugandan Minister told that senior officers of Chinese companies working in railway sector of Africa also mentioned Shehbaz Sharif as Punjab Speed and told that Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is the second name of speed, quality and transparency. He said that these Chinese companies are working on the projects of improving railway system in African countries including Uganda and Kenya.
He said that undoubtedly, he has witnessed Punjab Speed, mentioned by Chinese companies in Africa during his visit to Punjab and he is very happy that he has witnessed Punjab Speed personally. The Minister said that vision of Shehbaz Sharif for progress and prosperity of Punjab is excellent and speed unprecedented. That is why the term Punjab Speed has reached Africa from China and it is a proof to his extraordinary performance that Chinese companies working in Africa also mention his name with great respect in connection with speedy completion of projects in Pakistan, he added.
He said that Punjab has made tremendous progress in different fields and we seek cooperation of Punjab government in agriculture, education, urban development and planning sectors and want to benefit from expertise and skills of Punjab. He also invited Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to visit Uganda. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on this occasion said that Punjab government is ready to extend cooperation to Uganda in agriculture, education, urban development and planning sectors. He said that Punjab government has taken several revolutionary steps in the development of agriculture, promotion of education and urban planning sectors.
He said that it will be a matter of pleasure for us to assist Uganda in these sectors. Ugandan Ambassador for Pakistan Dr. M. Kisule, Provincial Minister for Finance Dr. Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, Chairman Chief Minister's Taskforce on Information & Culture Muhammad Malik, Haroon Shaukat of Punjab Investment Board, Secretary Agriculture and senior authorities were present on the occasion.
