{UAH} Death Strikes Acholi real bad!

From the rather cold environs of western Europe, I received sad and shocking news of the death of two of the best civil servants from Acholi, Gulu to be exact. Former Permanent Secretary Martin Lagara, the ever smiling gentleman passed on late last week while the current Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet Opio Lukone, who own the magnificent Churchill Courts Hotel in Gulu, died at the weekend. Shocking. I did not know Lukone but Lagara was such a lovely and worldly man!

I am sure the whole Uganda will miss them.
