Subject: Woolwich Ferry update
Are our emails displaying well on your device? If not, allow images or view online | | | | | | | Dear Mr Okelld, Due to a dispute between the RMT and GMB unions and the operator of the Woolwich Ferry, Briggs Marine, the unions are currently planning strike action. If this goes ahead, there will be no Woolwich Ferry services this Friday, 27 January. Road users who would normally cross the river by ferry, and whose vehicles are under 4m (13ft) high, can use the Blackwall Tunnel instead. Pedestrians who would normally take the ferry are advised to use the foot tunnels at either Woolwich or Greenwich. For the latest information, please visit tfl.gov.uk/ferry-strike or follow @TfLTravelAlerts on Twitter. Further strikes may take place. Details of these will be available at tfl.gov.uk/ferry-strike | | | | | | Yours sincerely, | | Peter Blake Director of Service Operations | | | | | | | These are customer service updates about getting around London.
