That Beti Kamya can order the dismantling of citizens businesses without consideration makes one wonder whether this indeed a leader championing federalism or was it a trick of drawing attention of Mr. Museveni? If the traders violated some kind of municipal/city regulations, it is the work of leaders to guide them, not causing such losses. Beti Kamya and her partners in this kind of crime have to be tasked to explain and possibly compensate the traders. These are ordinary Ugandans eking a living trying to care for their families but the rich are bent at destroying the little they have.

Beti and her team should dialogue with the traders and get them alternative places to do their businesses.
