{UAH} What happens to all the money MPs make while in parliament??

Broke Alaso Is Surviving On Handouts

Surely, whatever goes up must come down! The former Serere district Woman MP Alice Alaso who had turned into sort of iron lady for Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) is now living on handouts.

This was after Court of Appeal recently ruled in her disfavour by overturning High Court's decision for a fresh election following her petition against MP Hellen Adoa.

As we speak, the very dark skinned former FDC Secretary General is now pondering her next move and is looking left, right and center on how and where to get money to pay for the court costs.

Sources close to Alaso reveal that each time she is reminded about the court costs she breaks down in tears and as a result she has lost weight.

The latest indicates that her fans have launched a fundraiser campaign to raise money for her to clear the costs.

In a letter that we have obtained, FDC members from Serere led by Simon Chamute have written to Serere DPC informing him of their planned activities geared towards raising money from its supporters in order to help Adoa meet the payments of cost that court of appeal imposed on her.

"We shall be holding meetings of less than 10 people in various places, homesteads and in radio talk shows," the letter reads.
