{UAH} Lumumba repairs her car as Namara is buried
The ruling National Resistance Movement [NRM] secretary general, Justine Kasule Lumumba, on Tuesday took her vehicle that was damaged by a girl who rammed into it, for repairs in Nagulu, a Kampala upscale suburb.
"The party vehicle involved in the accident has been taken to the IOV in Naguru for inspection," Rogers Mulindwa, the NRM Communications Officer, said in a statement.
He said on the same day, Lumumba paid a visit to the family of the late Jane Namara who died in a motor accident on Monday afternoon.
Lumumba met the family from their home in Lweza Zone 'A', Mutuungo Parish.
While there, the Secretary General conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family.
The deceased will be buried today, Wednesday in Ishaka, Bushenyi district.
Lumumba knocked Namara dead at Kajjansi along Entebbe road as she crossed the road while talking on phone.
Mulindwa accused Namara of reluctantly ramming into Lumumba's car and damaging it in the front.
However, this is a promise Lumumba had in 2016 made to parents that the state would kill their children.
"When President Museveni, the chief fighter, is still seated on the throne, whatever they are planning, tell them the government of NRM is not going anywhere!" Lumumba said in Wakiso last year.
She went on: "Don't send your children to bring chaos in Kampala and cause confusion. Government will handle you…. you will be shot. The state will kill your children."
