NTV journalist Larry Madowo and State House honcho Dennis Itumbi were on Tuesday, August 15, embroiled in a tussle over the authenticity of forms 34A uploaded by the IEBC on its website.

As reported by TUKO.co.ke, the electoral body uploaded a handwritten form 34A showing results from a polling station in Mandera county.

The screenshot of the handwritten form was quickly taken by Madowo who shared it his popular social media platforms, attracting massive scrutiny from Kenyans.

They questioned the IEBC and the electoral body admitted it was a mistake from its side but clarified that the results written in the exercise book reflected those entered in original form 34A of the polling station.

Madowo again shared another form 34A that was signed but nothing was filled. He said he got it from the IEBC website.

However, this did not go down well with director of digital communication in the office of the president Dennis Itumbi.

Itumbi took to Twitter and attacked Madowo for what he termed spinning propaganda and fake news.

The drama did not end here. Kenyans jumped to the defense of Madowo and told off Itumbi for 'spinning lies'.

A rattled Madowo then hit back at Itumbi, questioning why he was bitter with his revelations. HE questioned if Itumbi works for IEBC and if IEBC is fake news.

So what did Itumbi say back?
