{UAH} Kabaka Sternly rejects Museveni’s land bill

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has openly voiced his opposition to the pending amendment of article 26 of the constitution to pave way for forceful taking over of property by Government.

Speaking to hundreds of members of the Mbogo clan who paid him a courtesy call (okulanya) at his palace at Banda yesterday the Kabaka said that the pending constitutional amendment has caused a lot of anxiety and uncertainty among his people and that its obviously against all principals of human rights.

Led by their clan leader Kayiira,the clan members told Kabaka that they are opposed to the amendment of article 26 and would wish to be guided further by the Kabaka as the Ssabattaka.

Nnyinimu abadde ayogera nga ensonga azisimbako amannyo, agambye nti abantu ba Buganda tebategeerera ddala kigendererwa abakulembeze ba Yuganda kye balina mu kulemera ku kuleeta etteeka lino eririmu okumala geemoolera ku ttaka ly'abantu.

Beene asiimye mu lujjudde Omulangira Kassim Nakibinge Kakungulu Mbuga n'Omusumba John Baptist Kaggwa olw'obutekomomma nga baatula nti etteeka erireetebwa bbi.

Bino Namunswa abyogedde asisinkanyeemu bazzukulu ba Kayiira ab'Embogo! Ggundaggunda Ssaabakomazi!
