I am just curious!

What is "Pece War Memorial Stadium"? What & which war?

And when was the war fought & won?

The last time I checked that stadium was "Pece Stadium"! I don't know who added the "War Memorial" to it. But whoever added that, if he/she fought and won a war, should build another stadium. I don't remember Acholi folks going to a war, fought and won!

Maybe after I left the country.

But Pece, is "Pece Stadium"! That is what I know & knew such that by 1986 it was still Pece Stadium.

Now I hear "War Memorial" & I wonder what war Acholi people went into, fought and won or even lost!
