{UAH} BANNAMAWOGOLA HAVE TALKED
MAWOGOLA NORTH ENDORSES "GIKWATEKO"
The people of Mawogola North have endorsed "okugikwatako" so that
presidential age limits are done away with. In public meeting Sam
Kutesa, the area MP held in the constituency since Monday November
5th 2017, including at Mijwala, my home sub county ,on Tuesday
November 7th 2017 people told him that if he does not support the
amendment, he should never go back to them (for votes).
Ssembabule which became a district in 1997, has benefited from
constructing Mpigi-Kanoni-Maddu-Ssembabule-Villa Maria road. It will
soon benefit from Ssembabule-Mbiriizi Road construction, and that of
Masaka-Mubende High Way, and also Ssembabule-Kyazanga-Rakai.
Rural electrification is ongoing and my home Nnambiriizi village has
benefited, piped water is only five miles before reaching my home
village, to mention but a few.
Mijwala which was a parish of Miyenje under my great grandfather as a
muluka Chief from 1900 to 1939, under Gombolola Mumyuka Kalungu, in
Buddu, before it became Lwentale Sub County in 1937 when present day
Mawogola North and Mawogola South were reunited to Mawogola from
Buddu, is now boasting of four more sub counties of Lugusuulu, Mitima,
Kawanda and Mabindo, and one town council, Ssembabule Town Council,
where each will have a Universal Secondary School and a Health Center
lll among others, compared to similar districts, counties and sub
counties in Bukomansimbi, Kalungu, or Wakiso.
Wakiso is the worst, with a population of over two million people, but
underrepresented in government and parliament because the political
leaders don;t want to lose empires.
So the people of Mawogola North have talked and the voice of the
people is the voice of God.
l hear that NRM secretariat sent senior leaders to these sub regions,
l am yet to hear developments from them.
