{UAH} I AM BACK: GULU IS / WAS FANTASTIC SO IS / WAS GULU

Just returned from from a blix visit to Uganda. Two weeks is a little too short ( one week in Kampala another in Gulu).

But it was a lot of fun all the same. Many night spots for nocturnal movers at both places.

I was particularly happy to see that Gulu is seriously taking up the campaign to build / construct better drainage system than the original
discriminatory crap of drainage systems along the streets that has been pesting. I for one have fr decades openly appealed for them to be covered. We can not have open drainage systems in town right infront of the shops making it difficult for older people  and handicaps to move freely and enter shops.

This is wonderful that they have taken up that challenge.

I have also for decades campaigned fr the stretch between Pece and Kampala rd. to be developed for commerce. That too has happened. Vanguard is developing fast with many streets with streetlights and night spots.

Oh, I have seen them live. You know the dancers that I only used to see on wedding videos. Next time you are in Gulu on a wednesday, please do yourself a favour, visit the traditional dance places. There are many super modern spots in town.

I'll be there again in March for a longer stay.
