Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko has blasted president Museveni for being a liar and destroying the country's economy for his personal benefits.

While appearing on CBS radio, a venomous Nsereko said he spent the entire week celebrating after president Yoweri Museveni accepted that his NRM government doesn't have money to pay its workers like doctors and prosecutors who are on strike over low salaries.

A jubilant Nsereko said that all along they have been telling Ugandans that the economy is down and can't sustained the heavy burden the government is putting on it. "Your government is not in active trade and by the way it's the only one in the world which runs its economy in such away. They hide in privatization but everything even the entities where they would have got money was sold to your relatives at a very little price. Now where do you expect to get enough income to pay your workers and facilitate your political mobilizations apart from milking the poor Ugandans? But good enough Mr. President openly come out and told Ugandans the they don't have money to pay workers. I'm happy that now Ugandans are going to wake up," Nsereko noted.

He added that because of the sleeping government which thinks only to milking its people by taxation, all their officials are now fighting for petty government projects to get a share through corruption.

"Now you see them all going to Karuma because they don't have where to get money from, these people don't know how to work, they just fight for  power thinking that they will get whatever they want from government that's why they are very corrupt," Nsereko said.

He advised the doctors and other government workers who want their pay increased that Museveni and his NRM party are just deceiving them that the ministry of public service is still reviewing the entire government workers salaries. But Nsereko said that If it was true that the government was working on it, it would have created a commission of inquiry through an act of parliament and passed a law which would have created that commission.

"I'm a lawyer I know very much what it means to setup a commission of inquiry and to investigate on salaries of government workers because it's a national issue. The president is just buying time and telling you lies," Nsereko confirmed.
