Authored by Swaib Kaggwa and published by Dorrence Publishing Co, USA, "African Hand America Loves" interprets Uganda's troubled political, economic, and social circumstances. It compares Uganda to other African nations whose history and zeitgeists it is inextricably linked. Citing continuing causes of the nation's slow progress towards first-world status, the book offers suggestions for vital changes from political structure to freedom of press. It predicts an end to the decades-long rule of president Yoweri Museveni by 2021 (pgs.92-93). But also sees one of the two biggest parties—either the ruling NRM or the opposition FDC causing disintegration of the other—leading to another strong party, majorly of youth, to emerge and fill the vacuum.
