{UAH} Ocen, Kipenji//Student sentenced to two years for stalking female MP

Folks;

I think the two-year custodial sentence is too harsh for this harmless stalker. 

Moreover, the trial magistrate also sneaked in two disturbing observations to hand down this long sentence:  that "society has groomed men to mistreat women" and "why this 25-year old man was stalking a woman twice his age.

First, stalkers are mentally-unstable people, and both genders produce stalkers. Secondly, why disapprove of the young man's love for an older woman? 

Or, better still, why insult the MP that she's too old to get attention from a younger man?

I think a probationary sentence, coupled with mandatory counseling, would be more beneficial to the defendant and the society than this prison sentence.
