CONSTITUTIONAL COURT RULING ON FALL OF OBOTE'S ANNIVERSARY
Welcome back from Juma prayer and new municipalities' elections.
Today, we have been marking the 33rd anniversary of the fall of Obote
ll regime to the Okellos. Their junmta was short lived as it was wiped
out by NRM/NRA focres, six months later.
Reports from Bugiri Municipality indicate that JEEMA President Asumani
Basalirwa is making it, thanks to Bobi Wine and the independence
parties; DP and UPC, disgruntled Movementists, among others.
Lawyer Male Mabiiriizi has also notefied Supreme Court that he
ointends to appeal against the ruling of the Constitutional Court on
Age Limit constituional amendment Act.
God willing, tonight , Friday July 27th 2015,on Dream TV, Akiikembuga
Extra from 09.00 to 10.00 pm, l shall be joined by a senior
parliammentary correspondent and Chairperson Greater Luwero
Development Association Moses Mulondo , and another senior journalist,
who also happens to be Sec retary of Greater Luwero Development
Asosciation Barnabas Yiga Matovu.
Main topics shall be Silver Jubelee of the Coronation of the Kabaka
and way forward for Buganda, and after Constitutional Court ruloing,
what next?
