That MV Kalangala, which belongs to Molly Komukama, Museveni's associate is subsdized by government. Travelers in ordinary class pay Shillings 11K while those in executive pay Shillings 14k. The ferry that is meant to 100 passengers carries more than 320 at an single time. It is just theft and abuse of tax payer's money. That very ferry has a faulty engine. It was taken for overhaul and was only repainted and returned, according to the ferry monitoring committee.
