{UAH} No 3rd parties; How mobile money is saving the diasporas

Get a Uganda Mobile number- open up a money account on that simcard.
Every payment day send funds on to that account a service now provided
by many of the money sending agents and you can then make payments
(fees, utilities, salaries) wherever you are to any person or
organisation in Uganda.

No third parties

You can add more items like mobile banking implying you can transfer
money direct from your mobile phone account to any other bank account
or registered mobile number in Uganda and the phone will keep logs of
those transaction also printable on a smart phone.

More so open up a voluntary NSSF account and you will be saving with
them. What is 1.5 million uganda shilling per month (18 millio a year)
at an annual 11%-14% percent interest rates.

Check how NSSF calculate interest on the internet.

Back in the days how did we do it;

You went to a bank in your domicile country. Requested the bank for
payment order in form of a international payment check. You put the
check in an envelope and send to Uganda. It reached sometime if you
were lucky (Bichupuli saga)

On reaching Uganda the check will be sent to New York for approval and
then sent back to your bankers in Uganda to effect payment.
