Be informed that General Motors is expected to announce on Monday tomorrow, that it will shut down assembly operations in Oshawa Ontario. We are being informed that this is going to be a phased shut down of the Oshawa plant as GM starts to manufacture its vehicles inside United States.

The move will affect approximately 2,500 jobs at the plant.
