{UAH} What were the D-Day landings?

On this day, British and allied troops landed on the Normandy beaches in France to be met with the heaviest cavalcade of gunfire ever seen. Just on this day day alone, 4,400 soldiers were killed by German fire, many in hand to hand combat. The aim of the combined allied assault was to liberate France from Nazi occupation, and eventually to overthraw the Nazi tyranny of Fuhrer Adolf Hitler..

So many lives were lost, but Donald Trump is now encouraging these Nazi killers to make a comeback. Trump wants a fascist restoration in Europe. We must stop him. No more D Days. No more Normandy Landings.
