WHAT THE LAW SAY ABOUT BEAUTY BEING A JOB REQUIREMENT?

Have you ever noticed that people in certain professions or jobs have a certain 'look'? If you are not given a job because of how you look or how attractive you are, does it mean that beauty is another legally acceptable job requirement?

Well, this is also discrimination under the employment law because beauty is not part of a job description for certain positions (e.g. customer care), and you have been discriminated based on the physical appearance. This is illegal unless the physical attributes being described within the requirement are necessary or useful to duties outlined within the job or work being described.
