People flee London Bridge as 'gun shots are fired' and armed police seal off the Thames crossing as they confirm they are 'dealing with an incident'
The Metropolitan Police said officers are dealing with an incident at London Bridge this afternoon amid reports of shots being fired.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: 'We are in the early stages of dealing with an incident at London Bridge. Please follow @metpoliceuk for updates.
'If you are near the scene, please follow the directions of any officer on the ground.'
