The NRM and Violence: Siamese twins joined at the hip.
According to NBS news, tbe NRM team in Kasese has now launched a massive campaign that aims at seeing they field a single candidate for each position in the district. Their aim is to "win back" the district.
It's important to note that the NRM has only one seat in the district currently, that of the Mayor, they lost all 6 parliamentary seats and even that of the LC V.
That is something that hadn't happened before.
Unlike Mugabe that gave himself the title, I think the real man with a Degree in Violence is Museveni.
While he was supposed to at Dar-es-Saalam university studying, the man went about fighting the Portuguese alongside FRELIMO in Mozambique! Like how?!
Then, what he saw become the thesis of his research "FANON'S THEORY ON VIOLENCE: ITS VERIFICATION IN LIBERATED MOZAMBIQUE."
Somehow, after the regime uses violence in certain areas, it just even becomes more popular in those areas when it comes to Elections!
With all the accusations labelled against the regime's soldiers in the North and north Eastern Uganda as they fought the LRA, the region is now the place they now get the most votes! (Refer to the case Tinyefunza V. A.G and Mathew Greene's "Wizard of the Nile" on the violence on citizens), Like how?!
Now, Kasese is on their reader come 2021 following the palace invasion about two years ago.
Last time I checked, Operation Wealth creation had pitched camp in Kasese and they were doing a lot "good work" for the citizens that side.
Am damn sure NRM will win at least two parliamentary seats in the district this time round!
Like I said before, someone needs to study Museveni!
