LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP:

Carlos Ghosn, the Nissan former CEO, now a fugitive from Japanese prosecution, has made a very serious error of judgement. 20/20 has started very badly for him. He jumped bail and fled to Lebanon where there is a serious streets revolt against his class, particularly the top where he falls. His other alternative country, France, is also in turmoil and revolt against his class. And even if he turns to his other country of citizenship, Brazil, he will meet the same situation as there are revolts in rejection of his privileged class.
Sometimes before you flee from your fire, first check the intensity of the flames of where you are going. This is true of many situations. I have seen it all, first hand.
I have been in various political formations, FRONASA, UNLF, UPM, NRM, FDC and now in retirement. I have been a political follower and a political leader. I have been in religious life and an agnostic. I have been in exile, in Government, in Parliament, and then retirement. I have been in business, in farming, in consultancy, in civil society and parenting and mentoring people of various ages and levels. I have interacted with presidents, peasants, students and professors, bishops, priests, prophets and all levels of society or societies. I have been in conflict resolution and dialogues of various sorts. I have been involved in conflict, including war and contestation of different types.
I have been to more than 20 countries in Africa, to most of the world major countries except Russia and Japan- others China, India, USA, Canada, Brazil, and most of Western Europe and South America I have been there. I have been to Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Argentina, Peru and many other places. I have addressed many international conferences, fora and institutions. I have advised the high and low. I have traveled by the extinct supersonic Concord. So I can safely say that I know the world and
I have a little experience to back me up. Besides, the education I went through has given me the benefit of literacy in English for over six decades. I have read the European classics before the advent of computers and I have had easy access to knowledge provided by the internet.
So when I tell you that LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP take it seriously. Carlos Ghosn leaped before he looked. May be the same could be said of President Trump when he approved the concurrent assassination of the Iran general and the Iraq militia commander- but this is a diversion.
