{UAH} SEVERAL HOURS after Gen. Tumukunde announced himself a Presidential aspirant

SEVERAL HOURS after Gen. Tumukunde announced himself a Presidential aspirant for the expected 2021elections, I find myself stranded between belief and disbelief. I dont know whether to categorise this as one of the tactics of the junta to stage proxy candidates in opposition against himself to confuse us or a true fall- out of the General and his boss....The Tumukunde candidature is both fake and true.

The last time Tumukunde went for elective politics was as a campaign manager for his son who stood for and lost the post of Youth MP- Western. While in Fort Portal, for the elections where his son Amanya Tumukunde was running against Mwine Mpaka Rwamirama, son to State Minister for agriculture Lt. Col. Bright Rwamirama,Tumukunde was shot by what he said was alive bullet as the army mantained that it was a rubber bullet.

Henry Tumukunde a former chief spy for the regime had a decade before in 2005 been aligned before the Court martial and held for years as a prisoner at the Officers Mess in Kololo. This came after he was charged with the offence of spreading harmful propaganda on radio talk shows. The imprisonment at Kololo, came two weeks after the Court Martial had cleared Tumukunde of inflating the army payroll with 650 non-existent soldiers between November 2000 and November 2001 when he was the 4th Division Commander in Gulu.

I happened to be on one of the radio talk shows with Tumukudde and Medi Nsereko (Parliament yaffe), the day he "committed" the offence,of spreading harmful propaganda. He repeated this show on radio One. In summary, Tumukunde likened Museveni to Malawi's Kamuzu Banda who got mental glitches due to old age a thing that gave his Mistress popularly known as Maama Kazamira space to govern Malawi in his name without the knowledge of the people of Malawi. The suggestion by Tumukunde was that Museveni was losing his mental adquencies and there was possibility that Uganda was being led by other people who had never stood for elections most probably members of the first family.

Away from the program,Tumukunde had told me in confidence that he had seen the misery of the people in Nothern Uganda after the fall of Amin,Obote and Lutwa and that he feared that the Westerners in Uganda will face the same after Museveni if they dont get up to denounce him now(then). He said that he had cut out a role for himself to lead the Westerners to rebel against Museveni if for nothing else but to show other Ugandans that they dont endorse his actions so as to escape revenge when Museveni finally gets out of power.

Earlier on in 2002/2003,Tumukunde toyed with the idea of forming a Political Party called the Progresive Party of Uganda with preminary meetings sitting somewhere in Makerere University and others at Makindye. Being a practising investigative journalist then,writting under a Pen name in a certain Newspaper, I attended some of these meetings until it became very clear that all those sitting to listen to Tumukunde's political-rantings were being followed by ISO guys.

I didn't want to risk myself further since I had even got to know that Tumukudde wasnt being driven by need to liberate Uganda to restore democracy but to exonerate the Westerners. It was just a clever way to ensure safety of Museveni tribes mate and their property after this regime.

I further lost intrest in Tumukunde when he refused to engage Museveni legally for detaining him illegally morever in a bar that had been transformed into a first class prison for Tumukunde. So Tumukunde was punished like the bigman's naught son, not necessarily put in Prison. It made me remember those days Mum would lock me up in the bedroom to serve a sentence for any of the crimes I committed.... Abaganda call this AKUBA OWUUWE,AKUBA AWUMBA ENGALO.

And when he finally got released Tumukudde run a separate and autonomous campaign force with a specific budget to get Museveni reelected or to put it better, rig the 2016 elections. Tumukunde was the top most terror operator carrying out the most dangerous missions as Museveni turned the 2016 Presidential elections into a Military operation. I hope we all remember the day he landed an Helicopter at Amama Mbabazi's rally and completely disorganised it.

So yesterday when I recieved the news of the elevation of Tumukunde's candidature from that of the Lord Mayor to that of the President, I failed to know which Tumukudde had submitted the consultation notification to EC....Was it Tumukudde who sat with me in the studios of CBS to denounce and baptise Museveni the Kamuzu Banda of Uganda OR Tumukunde who had gracefully,peacefully and calmly sat for years in the Kololo Officer's Mess turned into Prison (Prison - Hotel) without lifting a finger and later campaigned for Museveni aggressively?

Allow me to go and do some homework about this....Only to remind you that the Electrol Commission has revealed that it has already recieved Twenty Presidential Aspirants to go out and consult Ugandans on the possibility of them standing for Presidency in 2021....At this rate we might end up with fifty Presidential candidates...Things like these only confirm that Satan is a Ugandan!
