STRANGE BUT TRUE.
Ever Since John Pombe Magufuli became President of Tanzania in 2015, he has never travelled outside of Africa.
He traveled to Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and Malawi once in 2016.
He always sends or designates his foreign Minister or others to represent him at International gatherings and confidences.
He's always said it's less costly for a minister or two to travel than the President and his delegation, so he stays home to save the country more money.
Though he has not gone anywhere in the name of searching for Investors since he came to power in 2015, Tanzania remains one of the fastest growing economies in Africa.
