{UAH} LAND QUESTIONS (SELLING LAND TO MORE THAN ONE PERSON.

What happens if more than one person buys the same piece of land? Who is the real owner of the land?

Response:
If the same piece of land is sold to more than one person, then the one who bought first prevails and s/he is the legal owner of the land.

But if another person buys the same piece of land and s/he registers the land before the one who bought first then the one who registered first prevails and is the legal owner as long as s/he is abonafide purchaser (bought in good faith after doing due diligence)

So what is the remedy of a person who has lost LAND?
You can sue to cancel the title based on fraud
Compensation from the government if the land is registered
Compensation from the person who sold to you.
