{UAH} Gunmen attack Kireka Electoral Office, take away People Power Candidates details
The officers yet to be identified held pistols and ordered all officers of the electoral commission officials registering candidates all candidates who subscribe to the People power movement.
The officers, according to Jonathan Tundulu, the Kyambogo University guild president also took away all details of the candidates who had registered with the Movement.
"The returning officers feared and succumbed. All details were given in," Tundulu says. It's not yet clear whether the gunmen were from any of the country's security agency.
Electoral Commission Ag Spokesperson Paul Bukenya declined to comment on the matter when contacted by Entebbe Post.
