{UAH} Kabaka appoints Andrew Benon Kibuuka as Kasanje Sub-county chief

The Kabaka of Buganda HM. Ronald Muwenda Mutebi ll appointed veteran playwright and actor Andrew Benon Kibuuka as the new sub-county chief (Sabawaali) of Kasanje in Wakiso District.

Andrew Benon Kibuuka replaces Kalibala Sserwanga who was promoted to the Buganda Lukiiko representing Sabawaali Kasanje, Bussi, and Zinga Islands.

Kibuuka was officially installed in a rather scientific manner due to COVID-19 at a function presided over by the Busiro Country Chief Ssebwaana Charles Kiberu at Kasanje Sub-county Headquarters.

The function was graced by several big guns from Buganda Kingdom, Government and members of the general public.

Kibuuka has served the Kingdom in different capacities since the 80's. And he has registered numerous successes in the entertainment industry and has served as the President of the Performing Artists since 1994.
